Reginald Terry, LPC

Trauma and Compulsive Behavior Therapist

I can help you to make better choices so that you can have a better life.

  • You’re tired of letting these issues linger. You’ve seen how they affect your life in many ways: at work, your relationships, and even with yourself. It’s all built up and the ways you’ve learned to deal with things are only making it worse.

I help my clients gain more perspective about themselves and the world and give them the guidance they need to heal. I will help you develop the skills to better control your anger, stop the negative thinking, and maintain some peace in your life.

  • I specialize in working with folks who are struggling with past trauma and substance use or other compulsive behaviors like gambling.

Many of today’s solutions for trauma don’t take into consideration the adversity that you face on a daily basis. This leads a lot of people to feel like therapy isn’t for them or that their therapist will never understand them. I know that you are a unique person so I will take the time to get to know you, your issues, and your goals.

  • I have training in EMDR, CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing.

I graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy with a Master’s of Arts in Mental Health Counseling. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Michigan.
